Villa Medici in Muenster

Very good food, the flavors of the dishes skillfully and creatively coordinated. In addition, an attentive and very friendly service, careful hygiene measures. Overall an all-round excellent restaurant experience.

A very nice atmosphere and really nice staff. Even if we didn't find anything suitable to eat, we were treated in a friendly and more than courteous manner. We were even given recommendations for an alternative. Definitely worth another visit!

We went to Villa Medici for dinner with our two children and we definitely haven't regretted it. The building shines from the outside; inside the ceiling lighting is laid out like rays of sunshine. The service was very friendly, competent and unobtrusive. The way we dealt with our two children was great. There were e.g. Child-friendly aperitif recommendations for the children. We had starters (antipasti platter, beef carpaccio) and main courses, among other things. homemade pasta, ox cheeks from the casserole and rump steak. Then a delicious open red wine, which surprised me positively due to the low age and price (twelve and a half Primitivo Del Salento Varvaglione winery). It was a super nice evening and when we come back to Münster, we will go back to the Villa Medici, because not only the adults liked it very much here, but also the children !!! Dear Villa Medici team, thank you very much for this great evening !!! A tip, please add 1-2 champagne to the wine list, e.g. Lallier or a Perrier Rosé

Ate well and stayed here on October 15th, 2020. The young, sometimes lively, staff tries very hard to please the guests. The manageable, but finely coordinated, Italian / Mediterranean menu and the extensive wine list offer good opportunities for the individual guest at a well-balanced price / performance ratio. An interesting tasting menu is also presented. But: The rooms can only be reached via extremely steep stairs - there is no elevator - as are the toilets in the restaurant. Unfortunately, that would be seniors and / or others. Facing insurmountable hurdles for people with disabilities.

Culinary impeccable but we particularly liked the service. Five stars for the nicest waiter!

First-class food tasty and served cooked to the point at the same time despite 8 people. Very courteous, polite service who kindly offered special requests to meet and did so. We had a lot of fun that evening.

The menu was very good and guaranteed not too expensive for the quality, we will be back.

During the Corona period everything is a little different: in the Villa Medici too, and we found it very positive. The hygiene concept is implemented well, glass partitions between the tables, plenty of space and the tasting menu was great! Service friendly and attentive. It was a nice evening. We'll be back.

The food is really excellent and the service very friendly and attentive. We didn't like the location itself outside facing the street. The prices are high.

Food was fab, new location, new owner... let's hope service improves and guests will find them.

It was outstanding again! The service was very attentive, the food a poem (you can see in the photos), the drink accompaniment excellent! Here you are not only a guest, here you are among friends! I recommend everyone to eat here! And if you can not get home (the bar is well stocked): there are even B & B rooms 😉

Good place in a beautiful location!

We have been visiting Münster‘s and regional best Restaurants for the last 4 years almost once a week. Usually being disappointed and driving for real good dinners to Düsseldorf, Maastricht, Bruxelles, Frankfurt, or Schloss Bensberg. Villa Medici is the only Restaurant in the region of Münsterland which can be placed on par with very good Michelin Star restaurants. Münster does not deserve such a good restaurant. Munsteraner’s don‘t seem to appreciate the high quality of truly haut cuisine, presentation, service and ambiance. For what Villa Medici delivers, their prices, whilst not cheap, offer top value for money. The creativity, presentation, variance, tastes and service are superior to anything in the region. We have now been four times and hope for many more opportunities. Don’t just expect an Italian spaghetti and pasta joint! Elmar A. Busch

Amazing authentic good

We were now often in the Villa Medici ... and every time we took the 6 course meal .... we are totally thrilled .... tasted just great ... very comfortable atmosphere .... the service staff very much polite and courteous ... all in all, it was a wonderful evening ... we like to come here ...
